Here at www.registered-nurse-canada.com, I really love hearing from nurses all over the world. So many nurses are interested in coming to Canada to work in the Canadian health care system.

If you are an internationally educated nurse you must know up front that I cannot intervene in any way for you in the process of Canadian immigration or in the process of becoming a nurse in Canada.

What I can do for you is provide you with information. With this information you must then follow the correct procedures to accomplish the move to Canada on your own.

There are hundreds of pages on this site, so I understand if you cannot find the specific information you are looking for right away.

If you want to keep up to date with this site and with the nursing profession in Canada here are some suggestions:

  1. subscribe to the RSS feed - this will keep you up to date with any new postings and bloglets of new information that I send out.

  2. bookmark the nursing shortage in Canada section. Come back often to see the latest updates OR subscribe to the RSS feed and you will automatically receive them when they are posted.

  3. subscribe to the e-zine - this will update you on the nursing profession and health care in Canada. I try to send out an issue of NursEzine Matters at least once per month.

  4. complete the free e-course that comes with your ezine subscription - this will take you step by step through the website and guide you to the many pages here and elsewhere that will help you in your journey to become a registered nurse in Canada, including some information for preparation for the licensing exam (sample question included).

I respond to each and every e-mail. Some questions that I get are highly specialized and I will do my best to answer them. If the answer to your question is contained within the e-course then I will refer you there.

Please send me an e-mail to tell me your story if you think this website has been useful and helped you in any way! You stories are what keep me going!
